Hello, my name is Abiel Eyassu, and I am a Full-Stack Developer and student based in the DMV area. I am a senior currently finishing my degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland. My ultimate goal as a developer and member of the tech community is to provide affordable, reliable access to technology and use it to address pressing global challenges.

As a Software Developer with experience across various organizations, from small startups to midsized companies, I’ve worn several different hats, including IT Technician, Software Developer, and founder. Currently, my roles are as the founder of a startup and a Software Developer at PayForMe. At PayForMe, I focus on building and optimizing payment solutions to streamline financial transactions, while also leveraging my expertise in crafting cutting-edge UI/UX designs. Additionally, I’ve founded a startup dedicated to developing cost-cutting applications for residential buildings, addressing and resolving inefficiencies caused by outdated systems and business methodologies. As a dedicated student and developer, I focus much of my time on learning and improving my skills. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. My travels often take me beyond my comfort zone, allowing me to freely explore diverse ways of life in different parts of the world. When at home, I stay active through long walks, running, and playing sports. In my free time, I love watching soccer and basketball.
